Exam Time!!!

This was a poem I’d come up with on the eve of the last exam of 6th sem. I am finding a pattern here. I come up with a poem when I am vehicle-less, partner-less (but full of a crush, poems to wooo), clueless (exam time). Now if I am penny-less, do you suppose I will pen poems to sing in the train? Best buds know I am capable. Hehe. Here goes:

The days have passed by as a blur,

Bad ones followed by worse.

Silver linings were rare,

Ominous or not they were there.

Hopefully they’ll burst through the dark clouds…

And I’ll be happy when they are through, no doubt!

6th sem’s almost done with,

Exams over and out,

Twas a never ending match!

But let me not count the chickens before they hatch.

One’s still remaining,

Still straining,

Still last min stuff to do..

After all this, you’ll hear me yell PHEW!!!!

A Typical day of an engg student

Am no longer an engineering student, nor do I want to visit a crazy professor’s lab in order to be sent back in time in his unidirectional time machine back to my engg days. Read on to find out why.

Not in the driver’s seat of my car,

I’m taking autos for distances near and far.

Forgot the pendrive in the printing shop,

So had to go back, come back, hop by hop.

Shuttling to yet another place to care of my project

Last day of being 20, I don’t think I can take it!

Missing my yellow car,

Watching the auto meter ticking in despair..

Woe is me, I’m so broke,

I don’t even have ten bucks to spare!!

This was a day before i turned 21. What’d i do to celebrate it? Threw a tantrum to get back my car.

Radio Station reviews

My pal at work is on vacation. I am bored to the core! My sad playlist on my phone has just 20 songs. Used them up, recycled them too. Almost memorized the lyrics (My talent % in remembering the lyrics and remembering to flush currently stand at 71.3 % only). And my God, they really really get a kick out of annoying the brains out of your skull on Radio One. Not their fault that they need advertisements to keep them going, but do the voices have to be so Hyper, Happy, Giggly, FAKE? And especially the girl voices. (I am not talking about RJs here). But hey, i cannot complain much about this station, it keeps me happy to a good extent. (solution i use- switch off the radio during the commercials). I almost jump out of my seat when Ghanta Singh comes on. He is sooo annoying that he is amazing!

Radio Indigo is pretty awesome, if only they’d get over the songs from the 80′s for a day. Just a day, please? And there’s nothing funny in this station. Nada. and the voices in the ads? Some dude with an american accent, really deep voice. NOT PLEASANT. especially in the “save the tiger” campaign. My finger hovered over the “switch off radio” button the whole week. but then again, this station plays ENGLISH songs, phewwwwww!!!!

I sure have a love-hate relationship with both stations! You guys keep me awake at work, so here i go again, am donning my headphones and nodding my head along :) Arrrrgh, advertisement!

Snoooooozze in the Shuttle

I need to sleeeeep… I wonder why the company bus is called “shuttle”. I think they think if it has a fancy name we’d be all “Wooo Hoooo y’all! I’m going home in a  shuttle!!!” And besides, my house is nearly about as far away from work as moon is from earth. So i guess, yeah, i need a shuttle. But have mercy please! DO NOT play songs which are rip offs from Justin Timerlake’s “cry me a river”! Or my fav, Neyo, “so sick of love songs”. And dont play it at such a loud volume man! Freak! I really like catching up my zzzz’s in the shuttle. If only i could… My desk at work gives no cushioning effect to my sleepy head. Hey by the way, blogging at work is sooooo much fun, but i am going to take a few pages out of clumsy pixi and dooce’s books, i will never name anyone, or bitch about them. Thanks for being my inspiration you two… :) Good Day!

An important aside

In many many blog entries coming up, it will be the translation that i was talking about. It is spoken by the Almighty, Chakradhar. It is not me saying those things. So read on, find out more about Him.

Embarking on a different angle

One of the reasons for creating this blog, apart from an attempt to sharpen my writing skills, was to put out certain very important documents. Those documents which are penned down when spoken by a very great entity. Some have been translated from Hindi. When things are said in our National language, they have a certain beauty to them. Which indeed get “lost in translation”. (Hehe i found that as quit a good pun). The documents have been retained in Hindi, they have also been translated in Gujrati, Tamil, Kannada. And I take my Creator’s name from the bottom of my heart, and hope that all goes smooth and I am able to do His job successfully through this Blog. May all those who read it find it useful, and it touches their soul in some way or the other.

Two’s company

Sorry for inserting the previous entry twice. I am new to this. Hoping that CP would give me a few tips when we meet next. Usually our tips cover a broad spectrum from managing long nose hair to fundamental-rights-of-all-living beings, so i am sure blogging tips comes under that category.

Hello world!

Greetings!!!

Ahhh what a title to my first blog… Hello World. Which budding programmer does not know these two words? Why did i have to be reminded of my roots? Sigh, today I really miss being labeled a software engineer. Because i am not. I am an infrastructure engineer. Sigh! My best friend, and fellow blogger at wordpress.com, would currently be wishing to throw her keyboard at my head. (She should actually be aiming at her monitor). She’s sighing as she reads this, thinking, “Come on!!! I expected more from you gal, not whining and being a nerd! Sheesh, comp sci geek!”. Hey Clumsy Pixi dont i get any brownie points for reading your mind?

But this blog, i hope, reflects a little bit of my mature side. (CP is wondering as to if that’s my bottom side i am talking about).  No folks, seriously. Under this 5 foot disguise is someone who’s trying real hard to get to her actual roots. Her origin. So i hope i can include anyone who reads my blog on this journey.

Cheers!

And, Hello World!!!
